Getting started

Preparing a file for a lasercut on Laserlove is really easy!

The basics:

  • We need a vector file in any of these formats: AI, PDF, EPS or CDR
  • You may use Adobe Illustrator, Coreldraw, Inkscape (gratis) and others to create those files
  • We cut ot to a max. material size of 80 cm x 60 cm but have 4 sizes:
    • S: 30 x 20 cm
    • M: 40 x 30 cm
    • L: 60 x 40 cm
    • XL: 80 x 60 cm
  • We'll automatically find the cheapest and most efficient material size for your file
  • All colors must be defined as RGB
  • Texts must be converted to outlines

Some Tips:

  • Our laser-beam has a width of 0.1 mm, please also set your line width / thickness to 0.1 mm
  • Delete duplicate lines to save money as the laser would otherwise cut the same line more than once
  • We'll move all elements of your drawing to the upper left corner, if you don't want that simply place a red rectangle around your elements and arrange them as needed. The red rectangle will be cut, too

How to prepare your file

We cut and engrave, you may of course also combine the techniques: i.e. add a red outline around a filled engraving.

Max. 80 cm x 60 cm

  • Prepare your canvas, we cut up to 80 cm x 60 cm
  • Please set all colors to RGB
  • Set line width / thickness to 0.1 mm

Cutting: red outlines

Red lines will be cut. Our laser is only 0.1 mm wide to ensure very fine cuts.

Outline Engraving: blue outlines

Blue lines will be etched with our fine 0.1 mm laser into the surface of the material.

Filled Engraving: Black fillings

Black fillings, wether objects or texts will return filled engravings.
Please remember to convert all texts into outlines.
